FA Cup holders Chelsea are planning to hold talks with the representative of Gonzalo Higuain as they seek to push through the Argentine's move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Argentina international has been a credible performer for Juventus with 55 goals over the past two seasons but his future remains doubtful following the record signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Italian journalist Giulia Stronati, the Blues are said to have planned a meeting with Nicolas Higuain, who happens to be the agent and brother of the 30-year-old striker.

No transfer fee has been discussed between the sides of yet but reports suggest that a sum of around £53m could be sufficient to secure the marksman's services in the transfer window.

Amidst this speculation, both Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud has been linked with a possible exit from the Blues with the former likely to be involved in negotiations for Higuain this month.
