Arsenal keen on signing Bayern Munich attacker
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is said to hold an interest in acquiring the services of Kingsley Coman from German champions Bayern Munich.
The 22-year-old joined the Bavarian giants on a permanent basis last summer after two impressive seasons on loan from Juventus but he could not make the France World Cup squad after suffering an ankle ligament injury in the lead-up to the tournament.
According to BeIN Sports, the Bundesliga holders may entertain the sale of Coman during the summer and this has apparently caught the eye of the Gunners boss, who is looking for one more recruit before the transfer deadline.
Emery has already managed to bolster the defensive strength of the squad with five signings during the ongoing transfer window and he is now said to be eyeing a young winger, who can compete for a regular starting role.
Coman, who begun his professional career with Paris Saint-Germain, is presently contracted to Bayern Munich until the summer of 2023. He is currently valued at around £44m by the German champions.
