Daniele Rugani's agent delivers fresh update on Chelsea link
The representative of Daniele Rugani has said that his client's move to Chelsea remains complicated with Juventus not keen on parting ways with the defender.
The Italy international has been heavily tipped for a reunion with Maurizio Sarri and the speculation has only intensified after he took over the reigns at Chelsea.
However, Rugani's agent Davide Corchia has appeared to dismiss his client's prospects of leaving Turin with the Bianconeri having expressed their desire to keep hold of the centre-back.
"Everyone thinks that [Rugani] follows him to Chelsea, but it must be considered that Juventus also did not accept any negotiations in the past, either with Napoli nor with any other teams and has always expressed the will to keep the player and today that has not changed," he told Radio Crc.
Rugani previously plyed his trade under Sarri at Empoli for two seasons before Juventus bought his full rights from the Serie A club. He managed to start in just half of the club's league games last term but this could soon change with Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli having entered the twilight phase of their playing careers.
