Liverpool 'highly unlikely' to sign Nabil Fekir
Liverpool are 'highly unlikely' to sign Nabil Fekir this summer with Lyon having decided to keep hold of their skipper ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The Reds came on the cusp of recruiting the Frenchman from Lyon last month but the move broke down at the final hurdle after the club expressed concerns regarding his injury record.
Since then, Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas has hinted that the attacker may yet leave the club but according to The Mirror, this does not appear as the case. As per the publication, the move is not completely off the table but it is highly unlikely that a deal will go through before next month's transfer deadline.
Liverpool have already announced the arrivals of Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho and Naby Keita this summer and they are now on the cusp of signing Alisson Becker from AS Roma after agreeing on a record fee for a goalkeeper.
