Manchester United clear favourites to land Chelsea attacker

Manchester United have reportedly emerged as clear favourites to acquire the services of Willian from Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window.

The Brazil international has been tipped for an exit since the close of the previous campaign but so far, he has stayed put with the west London giants.

According to Sport, Barcelona have dropped their pursuit of Willian after opting to sign Malcom from Bordeaux and this has placed United as favourites to sign the versatile winger this summer.

Nevertheless, the 29-year-old won't come on the cheap with the Blues said to want a fee of at least £62m in order to part ways with his services this summer.

Willian has been a consistent performer for the Blues over the past five seasons and his tally of 13 goals and seven assists saw him named as the player's Player of the Year in the season just past.
