Chelsea star edging closer to Real Madrid move
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly agreed contractual terms with Real Madrid ahead of his proposed move to the Bernabeu this sumer.
The Belgium international has been the Blues' first-choice goalkeeper for the past four seasons but he now appears on the brink of an exit after declining to extend his contract beyond next summer.
According to The Mail, the 26-year-old is said to have finalised personal terms with the European champions but the club have yet to sort a transfer fee with the Blues.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has recently indicated his desire to keep hold of the former Atletico Madrid loanee but the move may seem difficult with the keeper reluctant to prolong his deal.
Chelsea are currently monitoring the likes of Jack Butland and Kasper Schmeichel from Stoke City and Leicester City respectively as they seek to find a suitable replacement between the sticks.
