Hector Bellerin responds to 'crazy' exit talk
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has hit out at the speculation linking him with a potential exit from the Emirates during the ongoing transfer window.
The Spain international has been linked with both Manchester City and Barcelona in the past but when posed a question over his future, he had no doubts over his commitment towards the Gunners.
He said: "It is crazy that people ask me these questions all the time. A few years ago I signed a very long-term contract. I have never said that I have wanted to be anywhere else. I am very happy at this club."
Bellerin looked far from his best form during the 2017/18 campaign but he has nevertheless remained the first-choice right-back during recent pre-season games under Unai Emery.
Stephan Lichtsteiner has been brought into the ranks to provide competition this summer but the veteran may not be assured of regular starts with his trailing age. Bellerin has five years remaining on his Arsenal deal.
