Everton win the race to sign Barcelona defender?
Everton have reportedly received the green light to sign Yerry Mina form Barcelona after they agreed to match his £27m price tag.
Mina has been constantly linked with a Blaugrana exit since his return from the World Cup and the speculation has only intensified with Clement Lenglet joining the club from Sevilla.
According to Goal.com, the Toffees are likely to be successful in signing the Colombia international after agreeing to meet their £27m asking price for the centre-back.
Nevertheless, the Merseyside outfit may not have everything going their way with the Blaugrana likely to include a buy-out clause in the proposed agreement between the sides.
Mina's agent has previously admitted his client's desire to stay put at the Camp Nou but the chances now appear slim with Malcom being recently bought from Bordeaux.
Malcom is likely to take up one of the three non-EU spots available for the Spanish champions alongside compatriots Philippe Coutinho and Malcom, the latter who arrived from Gremio this summer.
