Claudio Lotito reveals which Manchester United target is better than Pogba

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has said that midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is better than Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

He was reacting to transfer speculation linking the Serbian with a move away from Rome, adding that he is worth more than the French World Cup winner.

“How much was Pogba sold for to Man United? Then Milinkovic-Savic is worth even more, because he’s much better," he said to Corriere della Sera.

Pogba was signed from Juventus for a then world record fee of £89m in the summer of 2016.

Despite reports indicating that United are looking to rush a transfer of the Lazio midfielder, Lotito has said that he has not received any offers from United, AC Milan, Juventus or Real Madrid.

Lotito also said that he turned down a €110m offer for the player last summer - and according to reports, the player is currently worth £138m.

With just over a day for the transfer window to close in England, it is highly unlikely that United will pay such a huge price for the midfielder.
