Fenerbahce are reportedly looking into a cut-price deal for Belgium striker Divock Origi, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at Liverpool.

The 23-year-old spent the entirety of the previous campaign on loan with Wolfsburg, where he managed an average tally of six goals from 34 appearances.

At present, Origi has under a year left on his existing deal with the Reds but Jurgen Klopp's side are nevertheless said to demand twice of the £13m paid to Lille four years ago.

According to Turkish Football, Fenerbahce are willing to continue discussions with the Reds, provided they manage to agree upon a reduced package for the Belgian.

Should this not be the case, the Istanbul outfit are prepared to walk away from the table and will focus on other targets before the Turkish transfer deadline approaches.

Origi has been with the Reds since the summer of 2014 and during this period, he has managed just over 50 appearances in the Premier League. He has also dropped down the pecking order with Belgium with his previous appearance coming in November 2017.
