Bayern Munich interested in Tottenham defender

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld, according to the Mirror.
The Belgian international is among a number of targets lined up as a potential replacement for Jerome Boateng, who is a option for French side Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United were interested in the German international, but a move failed to materialise before the close of the English transfer window on August 9.
According to reports, Boateng has agreed personal terms with PSG but a fee has to be agreed with the Bundesliga side before a transfer can be completed.
Alderweireld was on the substitutes' bench during Spurs' 2-1 Premier League win over Newcastle United last weekend.
With Tottenham unable to make more signings, selling Alderweireld will not be the most brilliant thing to do. They will need all the available players fit if they are going to match or better last season's performance, and selling Toby will in no way help them do that and silence the critics.
