Jose Mourinho tells Pogba to hand in a transfer request

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has told midfielder Paul Pogba to hand in a transfer request if he wants to leave Old Trafford, The Sun reports.

The Portuguese is reportedly unhappy with the Frenchman airing his grievances in the media and has advised him against it.

The midfielder replied Mourinho by saying that he should go through his agent if he wants to speak to him formally again.

With this development, it is fair to say that the relationship between the pair is at an all-time low.

Pogba recently said that there are certain things going on at Old Trafford that will attract a fine if he reveals them to the media.

Among those who will be monitoring this situation is Spanish side Barcelona. They have dropped interest in signing him this summer, but will reportedly keep tabs on the former Juventus man as time progresses.

Pogba is into his third year in his second spell at United, having joined the Old Trafford side as a youth player.
