Milner speaks on consistency in the Premier League

Liverpool player James Milner has said that he wants his side to be consistent in the Premier League this season.
Liverpool finished fourth in the league last season, and expectations are high after a series of signings during the summer transfer window.
"We want to be as consistent as we can be in the league, get through Christmas and see where we are,” he said, The Express reports.
The Englishman went ahead to say that the Reds have to shoulder the expectations coming from playing in Europe after reaching the UEFA Champions League final last season. Liverpool lost to Real Madrid by three goals to one.
The former Leeds United man added that the Liverpool team will improve because of the new signings, who have increased competition for places.
Milner played 32 Premier League games last season, and featured in the Reds' opening Premier League win over West Ham United.
Liverpool will face Crystal Palace in their second Premier League game at Selhurst Park next Monday.
