Liverpool defender in no rush to sign new contract
Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson is reportedly in no rush to extend his Reds contract despite the recent speculation pointing towards a payrise.
Robertson only joined the Reds from Hull City last year and he has since done brilliantly to become the first-choice left-back ahead of Alberto Moreno.
A recent report from The Mirror suggested that the 24-year-old could be handed a bumper wage hike after exceeding the club's expectations during his debut campaign.
However, according to The Liverpool Echo, that is simply not the case with neither the player nor the club said to be keen on holding negotiations over a new deal.
Robertson presently has four years remaining on his existing contract and this has supposedly nullified the need for fresh terms, given the present deal is heavily incentivised.
The Scotland international has been ever-present for Liverpool since the start of the new league campaign and he was most-recently involved in the 2-0 triumph over Crystal Palace on Monday night.
