Marcos Alonso heading for Chelsea exit?
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are both said to be eyeing a late approach for Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso before his month's transfer deadline.
The Spain international only joined the Blues from Fiorentina two years ago but he has since made a notable impact, contributing 15 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
According to Marca, both Real and Atleti are interested in signing the Spaniard and they could make individual bids of around £27m before the closure of the transfer window.
Atleti are supposedly eyeing a replacement for Felipe Luis, who is said to be close to joining Paris Saint-Germain while Real are also in the hunt for a new left-back to add competition within their squad.
Alonso has started the new season in excellent form for the Blues and he recently scored the match-winning goal as they went on to beat Arsenal by a 3-2 scoreline at Stamford Bridge.
