Real Madrid to make one last Hazard move?

Real Madrid are plotting a move for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard before the close of the transfer window, according to the Mirror.

The transfer window in Europe closes on the 31st of August, and Real are looking to bring in Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

It won't be easy for the UEFA Champions League holders to land him at this moment with Chelsea unwilling to sell and Hazard deciding against a move this summer.

The Belgian is reportedly willing to stay after this season if the Blues can qualify for the Champions League at the end of the current campaign.

Chelsea are looking to offer Hazard a £300,000-a-week contract extension to keep him at the club. His current deal expires in the summer of the year 2020.

After a good World Cup with Belgium, Hazard has started the season with Chelsea, making two substitute appearances against Huddersfield Town and Arsenal.

He is expected to feature again when Maurizio Sarri's men face Newcastle in the Premier League this weekend.
