Aaron Ramsey to wait until January to decide Arsenal future
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is reportedly in no rush to resolve his future with the Gunners, who have been reluctant to match his salary demands.
Ramsey has been in a contract standoff with the Gunners since the turn of the year but reports have recently suggested that he has already turned down a contract offer on the table.
According to The Mail, the Welshman is now prepared to play the waiting game with regards to his contract extension and he may only decide on his future at the start of 2019.
Ramsey was initially said to demand a similar package to Mesut Ozil, who is on £350,000-a-week. However, sources have since revealed that he is eyeing double of his current £110,000-a-week salary, which the hierarchy remain reluctant to match.
The 2017/18 Arsenal Player of the Year currently has 11 months left on his contract and he would be free to speak to overseas clubs when the transfer window reopens in January.
