Tammy Abraham to reject Aston Villa switch?
Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is reportedly prepared to snub advances from Aston Villa with a view to fighting for a first-team role at Stamford Bridge.
Abraham penned a new five-year deal with the Blues last summer before he made the season-long loan move to Swansea City, where he contributed eight goals across all competitions.
With the 2018/19 season having begun, he has been tipped to do the same with the Villains but according to The Mirror, the 20-year-old may decline the prospect of dropping a division.
It is added that he is prepared to fight for a role under new manager Maurizio Sarri despite being the third-choice striker behind Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
Chelsea will attempt to secure third straight Premier League win in as many games when they make the Tyneside to face Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues have picked up just one point from their previous five visits to St James Park but they will be hoping for better luck with a new head coach at the helm.
