Barcelona midfielder picks up injury in International outing
Football Espana reports that Chilean star Arturo Vidal has suffered an injury on the right knee once again in his venture with the national side.
The Veteran arrived at the Camp Nou from Bayern Munich this summer for a fee of 19 million to refill the void left by Catalonia legend, Andres Iniesta. Despite been categorized as a productive signing under boss Ernesto Valverde, Vidal has started the last three fixtures from bench and had failed to score a goal or gather an assist. But he serves as an important playmaker in the team and will get the chance to enter into the starting eleven in crucial moments of the season.
As report suggests, the former Juventus midfielder has sustained the same problem on his right knee that kept him sidelined from most part of the last season. He faced a slight discomfort in the training sessions ahead of the friendly against Japan. Thankfully, the injury isn't so serious this time out and he wish to walk it off rather than undergoing a surgery once again. He is expected to be back as soon as club football resumes next weekend.
