Manchester United consider Premier League boss as Mourinho's successor

Manchester United could make a surprise attempt to appoint Nuno Espirito Santo as their next head coach, should they decide to dismiss Jose Mourinho from the same position.
Mourinho came under pressure after the Red Devils suffered defeats in two of their opening three matches but he has since received some relief after the 2-0 away triumph at Burnley.
Nonetheless, SportBild claims that Mourinho's position remains under consideration and another average run of results may witness the 55-year-old being dismissed from the managerial role.
It is added that Nuno, who played under Jose Mourinho at Porto, is the prime target on their radar with him having impressed for Wolverhampton Wanderers since his appointment.
Nuno was hugely influential towards Wolves making their return to the top-flight last term and the 44-year-old has since helped them make a solid start with five points accumulated from the opening four league matches.
