Liverpool not interested in PSG midfielder
Liverpool are not interested in a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Reds were linked with a move for the Frenchman, with reports indicating that the club had made contact with the player's agent.
It was also reported that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had spoken to the player regarding a transfer.
Liverpool are reportedly surprised by the stories and have denied that Klopp made contact with the player about a possible transfer to Anfield.
Rabiot's deal with PSG expires at the end of the season, and he has been reluctant to sign a new deal with the French side.
Barcelona are said to be interested in Rabiot and could offer him a deal at the end of the season.
Rabiot has appeared in four Ligue 1 games this season for the champions, scoring one goal.
Rabiot was left out of France's World Cup winning squad in June, a decision that did not go down well with him, and it is one he will be willing to avoid in future.
