Gary Cahill prepared to leave Chelsea unless this happens
Chelsea club-captain Gary Cahill could end his association with the Blues during the January transfer window, should he continue to be ignored by Maurizio Sarri for the first-team duties.
The 32-year-old has been with the Blues for the past six seasons and he has made over 40 appearances in each of the previous two campaigns for the club.
Despite this, he has begun the current season on the downside with Sarri yet to include him in the matchday squad and this has supposedly got him thinking about his club future.
According to The Sun, Cahill is unlikely to sit on the bench for the vast majority of the campaign and he is prepared to push for a winter exit unless a drastic change occurs in the forthcoming months.
Cahill is presently regarded as the fourth-choice centre-back behind David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen and in a recent interview, Sarri has urged him to remain patient for his opportunities.
Chelsea will seek to pick up their fifth straight win of the Premier League season when they entertain newcomers Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge on September 15.
