Lucas Torreira reveals club he dreams to play for
Arsenal's summer signing Lucas Torreira has said that he would like to return to South America to play for Argentine champions Boca Juniors at some point of his career.
The Uruguay international became the Gunners' fourth recruit of the summer transfer window after joining them from Sampdoria but he has since been a regular substitute in the Premier League.
He managed to earn his maiden start for the Gunners during the recent 4-2 Europa League win over Vorskla and speaking after that game, Torreira highlighted that he dreams of playing for Boca at some stage.
"At some point I would like to play for Boca. I hope I can achieve that dream I have," he is quoted as saying by Metro shortly after the midweek European game.
Lucas Torreira lasted less than an hour during his maiden start for the club and on his substitution, he was visibly wearing an ice pack on his leg whilst sitting on the bench.
Gunners boss Unai Emery indicated that the midfielder had only suffered a minor knock during the game and he is hopeful that the Uruguayan can make the weekend meeting versus Everton at the Emirates.
