Manchester United are reported to have opened their dialogue with former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane amid their poor league start under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.
United had come into the West Ham United game this weekend after having already dropped eight points from the first six games and their luck did not change as they succumbed to a disappointing 3-1 defeat.
With the loss, the club have now suffered their worst beginning to a top-flight season in 28 years and the hierarchy are now said to have made the effort to contact Zidane.
According to BeIN Sports, the Mancunian giants are deemed to have approached Zidane regarding his availability shortly after the club's defeat at the London Stadium.
It is added that the Frenchman would fancy becoming the club's next head coach despite the unfruitful situation and he is presently taking English lessons to communicate more frequently in the language.
Manchester United are presently positioned 10th on the Premier League table with the same number of points. Their next game comes against Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
