Pogba wants United exit if Mourinho stays

France international Paul Pogba has reportedly told Manchester United that he would seek a move away from Old Trafford, should Jose Mourinho not be sacked from the head coach position.

The 25-year-old has witnessed a frosty relationship with the Portuguese tactician since the turn of the year and things have only got worse of late with the duo involved in a heated argument during a training session which was broadcasted live.

According to The Sun, the midfielder has indicated that he has no intention to stay with the club, should they decide to stick with Mourinho on a long-term basis.

United are said to be reluctant to part ways with Pogba midway through the current campaign but such should such a situation arise, Barcelona are likely to hold the advantage in the player's pursuit.

The Catalan giants had attempted to sign the World Cup winner during the summer transfer window but their approach went in vain as United refused to listen to any offers.
