Zinedine Zidane's agent responds to Manchester United speculation
The agent of Zinedine Zidane has denied claims that the Frenchman is in contention to succeed Jose Mourinho as the next Manchester United manager.
A recent report indicated that Zidane has been placed on standby for the United role with the hierarchy currently weighing up the position of their head coach.
However, speaking to Journal du Dimanche, his representative has denied those suggestions and said that managing an English club 'does not appeal' the former Real Madrid boss.
"He was tired on a nervous level," Alain Migliaccio said. "He's decided to take a year out and he won't go back on that. I don't think he's going to England, it's not his style. I've talked to him and the truth is that it doesn't appeal to him."
Mourinho was heavily tipped to be sacked following the Premier League game against Newcastle United last weekend but this has certainly not happened with the board continuing to keep their faith in the Portuguese.
