Real Madrid plan £80m move for Chelsea midfielder
European champions Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a winter move for Chelsea's N'Golo Kante as they seek to enhance their chances of competing for silverware this campaign.
Los Blancos have been in terrific form especially in Europe over the past three seasons where they have secured successive Champions League crowns but they have a tough ask of replicating the feat this term.
Julen Lopetegui's side are currently without a victory in five matches across all competitions and The Sun reports that they have earmarked Kante as the main man to kickstart their season from January.
At present, Kante has nearly three years remaining on his existing deal with the Blues and he is understood to have already snubbed advances from the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite this, the World Cup winner is said to have a fond admiration for the European champions and reports claim that he would certainly consider the prospect of heading to Madrid, should the offer come by.
Kante, who joined the Blues from Leicester City in the summer of 2016, is currently rated at around £80m. He has been ever-present in the Blues' league campaign this season.
