Gary Cahill makes key transfer decision
Chelsea captain Gary Cahill has reportedly decided to stay put with the west London giants until the summer rather than push for a potential exit in January.
The experienced centre-back has yet to start a league game for the Blues this campaign and he recently suggested that he may have to re-consider his future at the turn of the year.
However, according to The Sun, the central defender is now said to have second thoughts over a possible winter departure and he may remain with the Blues for the campaign before deciding over a fresh challenge.
Cahill has played second fiddle to David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger for the central defensive positions this term and he has managed just two league appearances from the substitutes' bench.
His current contract expires at the end of the season and the Blues' hierarchy are yet to open any dialogue with his representative regarding a possible extension for another 12 months.
