Chelsea interested in signing ex-Liverpool winger

Chelsea are reportedly considering an attempt to sign former Liverpool an current AC Milan winger Suso during the winter transfer window.

The Spain international was heavily tipped to return to the Reds last summer amid his relatively affordable release clause of £34m.

However, the move never really happened with the Reds deciding to sign Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City but this has not ceased the speculation regarding Suso's future.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Blyes are keeping a close eye on the proceedings of Suso, who has been one of the standout performers for the Rossoneri this campaign.

Suso has already contributed towards 10 goals from just 11 appearances this campaign and it is suggested that Maurizio Sarri could pursue him to ease the burden on leading playmaker Eden Hazard.

Apart from Chelsea, there is said to be interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Napoli, though Milan remain hopeful of increasing his current release clause by convincing him to pen a new and improved contract.
