Serie A giants vying to sign Aaron Ramsey

Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan are prepared to tussle it out for the signature of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey at the end of the season.

Ramsey has failed to reach an agreement over a new Gunners contract over the past year and a recent report from Sky Sports News has confirmed that the Welshman is likely to leave on a free when his contract expires next summer.

Amidst this, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have been among the top-flight clubs linked but according to Calciomercato, the trio could face competition from overseas.

Both Juventus and AC Milan are said to be keeping tabs on the midfielder's developments and the duo have the advantage of agreeing a pre-contract with the Welshman when the transfer window reopens.

Ramsey has been a regular off the bench in recent Premier League matches and he could assume a similar role when Liverpool make the trip to the Emirates Stadium for Saturday's league encounter.
