Ruben Loftus-Cheek attracting West Ham United interest
West Ham United are reportedly looking into a loan move for Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek when the transfer window reopens in a couple of months.
The England international has struggled for playing time at the Bridge this term with just 318 minutes managed across all competitions for the club.
According to The Mirror, the Hammers are now said to be considering a temporary move for the 22-year-old amid the recent injury crisis under the tutelage of Manuel Pellegrini.
West Ham were already without Manuel Lanzini with a long-term injury and they have been hampered further with summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko also expected to be sidelined for an extended period.
Despite the speculation, the Hammers may struggle to tempt Loftus-Cheek away from the Blues with both the FA Cup holders and the player said to be content with the present situation.
Loftus-Cheek is expected to feature for Chelsea on Thursday night when they contest BATE Borisov in an away game in the Europa League group stage. The versatile midfielder netted a hat-trick against the Belarusians last month.
