Wenger advises PSG to sign Ramsey

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly urged Paris Saint-Germain to make an approach for Gunners midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The Wales international has already been told that his deal won't be renewed beyond next summer and he is free to discuss a pre-contract when the transfer window reopens in January.

In this regard, Bayern Munich have been tipped as favourites to pursue the three-time FA Cup winner but Paris United suggests that Les Parisiens could have their say in the player's future.

Wenger is understood to have a close association with the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy and the report indicates that the 69-year-old has provided a glowing reference on his former player.

Paris Saint-Germain are currently uncertain regarding the futures of both Adrien Rabiot and out-on-loan Giovani Lo Celso and Ramsey could emerge as a bargain option to fulfil the probable void.

Rabiot has yet to agree upon a new contract with the club beyond next summer while Lo Celso appears likelier to join Real Betis on a permanent basis when his loan contract ends.
