James Rodriguez drops future update amid speculation
Colombia international James Rodriguez has stressed that he is content at Bayern Munich amid speculation linking him with the likes of Chelsea and Juventus.
The attacker is currently in the second year of his two season-long loan from Real Madric but there have been suggestions that he could push for a return to the Bernabeu after struggling for a starting berth under Niko Kovac.
However, speaking to Bild, Rodriguez has clarified that he is clearly happy with the proceedings at the Bavarian giants and he is hoping to return to first-team action at the earliest after his knee ligament problem.
"I'd like to stay because I feel the love of the fans. That's true here in Munich, and actually the entire Bayern family. I feel very good right now. I want to be fully match fit in one to two weeks," he said.
Bayern have yet to trigger the buy option in the attacker's contract and it remains to be seen whether their stance will change as they approach the backend of the campaign.
