Liverpool interested in signing Brighton midfielder?
Liverpool are deemed to be weighing up an approach to sign Pascal Gross from Brighton & Hove Albion when the transfer window reopens next month.
The 27-year-old joined the Seagulls from German minnows Ingolstadt 04 in the summer of 2017 and contributed seven Premier League goals during their comeback season in the Premier League.
However, the current campaign has been much trickier with just one goal to date but according to The Mirror, he is nonetheless on the radar of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Gross only penned a fresh four-year deal with Brighton during the summer but the Merseyside giants believe they can prise him away from the South Coast for a fee of around £15m.
The Reds are currently in a comfortable position with respect to their midfield after the summer arrivals of Naby Keita and Fabinho but there still appears an effort to strengthen their options further.
Liverpool are presently at the top of the Premier League standings with 42 points after Manchester City suffered a rather surprising 2-0 defeat on the road to Chelsea last weekend.
