Chelsea planning £36m bid for South American winger?
Chelsea are reportedly readying a £36m move to acquire the signature of PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano this month.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has recently highlighted that he is looking to recruit wide atttacking players during the transfer window and Lozano appears among the prime candidates on his wishlist.
According to Calciomercato, the Blues are prepared to make a formal approach for the Mexico international, who has already netted 15 goals for PSV at the halfway stage of the campaign.
The west London side have already made one signing in the form of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund this month but the attacker has, however, been loaned back to the German club for the season.
Due to this, Sarri appears keen on pursuing at least one immediate reinforcement and Lozano seems the ideal solution, though the Blues could face added competition from AC Milan and Napoli.
Chelsea are currently going through a tough phase in terms of injuries and they are certain to be without Olivier Giroud, Willian and Pedro for the FA Cup third round tie against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
