Inter Milan keen on signing Manchester United striker?
Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to make an approach to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United, should Mauro Icardi pursue a fresh challenge away from San Siro in the summer.
Icardi has been constantly leading the line for the Nerazzurri in the past five years but his position has come under doubt after being stripped of the captaincy and dropped from the squad for the recent Europa League game.
According to Tuttomercato, the Nerazzurri are preparing a contingency plan for the potential departure of Icardi and Lukaku is among the top marksmen on their radar.
Lukaku had been the number one striker for United under the guidance of ex-boss Jose Mourinho but things have changed under interime boss Ole, who has preferred Marcus Rashford upfront regularly.
This has already spread speculation regarding the Belgian's future and it appears that he could push for a fresh club elsewhere, should he fail to receive assurances of regular gametime when the permanent manager is named this summer.
