Arsenal to return for La Liga-based midfielder?
Arsenal are likely to retain their interest in signing Ever Banega from Sevilla in the summer as they seek to overcome the departure of Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey is expected to leave the north London giants at the end of the season after agreeing on a pre-contract with Juventus over a Bosman transfer.
As such, the Capital outfit are already on the search for potential recruits and The Mirror claims that Banega tops the wishlist of manager Unai Emery.
Emery has previously worked together with Banega at Valencia and Sevilla and he could not lure him to the Emirates during the winter transfer window.
Still, the club are prepared to make a renewed approach in the summer after getting to know that the midfielder has a £17m release clause which can be triggered.
Emery is likely to be handed with a restricted transfer kitty of just £40m for the summer, though he can enhance the budget with the sale of existing players.
