Chelsea to replace Eden Hazard with Paris Saint-Germain star?
Chelsea will reportedly seek to pursue Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain, should Eden Hazard make the move to Real Madrid in the summer.
The west London giants were recently handed a two-window transfer ban by FIFA but they are likely to bypass the punishment for the summer with their appeal likely to delay the final judgement.
According to Le10Sport, the Blues have made the main priority to find a replacement for Hazard, should the Belgian seek his dream switch to Los Blancos in the summer.
It is added that Cavani has been earmarked as one of the prime targets and the Blues could be prepared to invest most of the £100m garnered from Hazard's sale on the Uruguayan.
The Paris Saint-Germain has largely featured upfront in the past few seasons but he has previously played on the wings when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was tasked with the job of leading the club's frontline.
