Manchester United striker wanted at Inter Milan?

Inter Milan have reportedly earmarked Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku as a potential signing for the summer with Mauro Icardi appearing likely to part ways with the club.

Icardi has been crucial to the Nerazzurri's progress over the past few years but his future remains under uncertainty after being stripped from the captaincy as well as dropped from recent matchday squads.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the San Siro outfit are likely to sanction Icardi's exit during the summer transfer window unless he agrees to sign a new long-term contract with the club.

It is added that they are already looking into probable replacements for their former skipper with Belgium international Lukaku among the leading candidates on their shortlist to fill the void.

Lukaku has been in-and-out of the starting lineup since the beginning of the current season and this has restricted him to just nine goals from 34 appearances for the Old Trafford outfit.
