Ole Gunnar Solskjaer drops injury update after Liverpool game
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that he could be without a string of first-team players for the midweek league clash against Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils witnessed hamstring injury setbacks for Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard during the first period of the Reds clash while Marcus Rashford was equally struggling with a swollen ankle.
Aside from the quartet, Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial are among the other main players with notable injury concerns and Ole has now hinted that none of those may return for the midweek Palace game.
"No idea at the moment, but we've got two days of recovery. If he plays [against Palace] I'll be maybe surprised," he was quoted as saying by The Manchester Evening News.
United goalless draw against Liverpool has dropped them outside of the top four positions after just one gameweek but their performance was still impressive, given a number of regulars were hampered by injuries.
