Tottenham Hotspur accept leading attacker is likely to leave
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly acknowledged that Christian Eriksen is likely to part ways with the club during this summer's transfer window.
The Dane has racked over 250 appearances for Spurs since making his move from Ajax in 2013 but his long-term future remains in doubt with his contract expiring in 15 months' time.
According to The Mail, the north London side have accepted that Eriksen is likely to pursue a new challenge at the end of the season with Real Madrid identified as the favourites to sign him.
Eriksen's agent Martin Schoots has remained quiet with regards to the speculation linking the midfielder with Los Blancos but the Spanish giants are being fancied to make a formal approach in the forthcoming months.
Meanwhile, Spurs are widely expected to spend on new signings during the summer transfer window after failing to do so in the past 12 months where they have shown more interest towards the completion of their new stadium.
