Manchester United striker suffers injury blow ahead of Wolves clash
Manchester United are expected to be without in-form striker Romelu Lukaku for the weekend's FA Cup quarter-final tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the road.
The Belgium international has returned to form in recent weeks for the Red Devils and he has netted six goals in the past four matches across all competitions.
According to The Sun, the 25-year-old is struggling to overcome an ankle injury which was initially picked up during the 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week.
It is added that a scan has now confirmed his absence for an indefinite period, though United remain hopeful of his comeback before next month's Champions League quarter-finals.
Aside from Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata are also nursing injuries, though Ander Herrera has returned to the mix after recovering from a hamstring problem.
Manchester United are currently fifth in the Premier League standings, two points off Arsenal, who are holding the final Champions League group stage spot for next term.
