Icardi returns to Inter training

Inter Milan club captain Mauro Icardi has returned to training with the club amidst fierce interest in the player's services from Real Madrid and Man Utd. The Argentinian ace, who has not played for his club for over six weeks, is rumoured to have been unhappy with his manager and team and seeking a move away from Serie A.

With just over two years remaining on his deal at the San Siro, the club are eager to tie the striker to a new contract, but Icardi himself is ready to move to a new club and is said to be desperate to transfer to Spain or England.

Premier League giants Manchester United are in pole position to sign the forward, who was appointed club captain at Inter shortly after he arrived at the club.

The 26-year-old, who has scored 109 goals in 179 for Inter, previously played for Sampdoria and has only 8 caps to his name for his country.

With the long term future of Karim Benzema uncertain at Real Madrid and with Man United looking for a new forward, Icardi will be a hot property this summer.
