Premier League trio receive boost in signing French midfielder
Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have received a boost in signing Adrien Rabiot with Real Madrid having ended their pursuit of the France international.
The midfielder has been sidelined from first-team duties at Paris Saint-Germain since the turn of the year and this has resulted from a rift with the hierarchy after declining to sign a new contract beyond the summer.
In this period, he has been linked with high-profile moves to both Barcelona and Real Madrid but it appears that the duo no longer hold an interest in securing his signature.
According to AS, Barca have ended their pursuit of the midfielder following his significant wage demands. It is added that Los Blancos have followed suit and will target Paul Pogba and N'Golo Kante instead ahead of the summer.
Owing to this, it is claimed that the Premier League could potentially be the next destination with Liverpool, United and Arsenal said to hold a long-term interest in the 24-year-old midfielder.
Rabiot has made more than 225 appearances during his time at Parc des Princes but he is certain to leave the club in the summer after snubbing a new contract beyond June 2019.
