Inter Milan offer World Cup finalist to sign Romelu Lukaku?
Inter Milan have reportedly proposed a player-plus-cash deal to pursue the services of Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United this summer.
Lukaku experienced a disappointing second season with the Red Devils and he ended the campaign with just 15 goals across all competitions for the side.
Amidst this, there has been increased speculation regarding his future and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Nerazzurri are keen on luring him to the Serie A.
Luciano Spalletti's side are aware of United's long-term interest in Ivan Perisic and reports indicate that they are prepared to offer the Croatian plus £30m to acquire Lukaku's signature.
Similarly to Lukaku, Perisic has not experienced the best of seasons with the Nerazzurri since reaching the World Cup final with Croatia, but he has still contributed nine goals and eight assists to the team's cause.
United currently have plenty of options for the wider attacking role but they could be tempted to pursue Perisic, who has generally possessed a threat to the opposition defence with his sublime crossing attributes.
