Nabil Fekir told he can leave Lyon
Nabil Fekir has put the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal on high alert after it was revealed that the French attacker has been informed he can leave Lyon this summer. The talented international forward, who almost joined Liverpool just two summers ago, is amongst Europe's best up and coming talent.
It is understood that Arsenal are newly amongst the teams interested in Fekir, hoping to reunite current forward Alexandre Lacazette with Fekir. The two played together in Ligue 1 for Lyon for many seasons.
Liverpool have a longstanding interest in Fekir and had a bid accepted two years ago, only for a deal to fall through at the last minute.
Whilst Man Utd are rumoured to be looking to rebuild their attacking lineup this summer, and could even offer wantaway Alexis Sanchez in exchange.
Lyon club president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed Fekir is on his way this summer.
“Effectively, Nabil is outside [of the two departures expected], because we have an understanding that he can go,” he told reporters.
“Thanks, Nabil for bringing what he brought, we have an understanding to let him go.”
