Arsenal to beat Manchester United to the signing of French star?
Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offer stiff competition to Manchester United in the race to sign midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 24-year-old did not feature for Paris Saint-Germain in the backend of the season after declining a contract extension and he is expected to leave on a free transfer when his deal expires next month.
Amidst this, United are said to be keen on securing a contract package for the France international but The Sun reports that they could face stiff competition from Unai Emery's side.
At present, both teams would only be able to offer the midfielder with Europa League football but the Gunners could qualify for the Champions League, should they beat Chelsea in the Europa League final next week.
Elsewhere, Emery has a good association with the Frenchman after playing him regularly during their time together at Parc des Princes and that could offer the Gunners with a potential advantage in luring him to the Emirates.
