Jasper Cillessen speaks on his future amid Manchester United speculation

Netherlands international Jasper Cillessen has said that Barcelona are making it difficult for him to join another club after placing a £53m price tag on his head.

The Dutch footballer has recently been linked with a potential move to Manchester United with reports emerging that David de Gea could end his association with the Old Trafford outfit.

Cillessen had previously acknowledged that he would be pursuing a fresh challenge away from the Camp Nou but the same appears not certain with the Blaugrana said to demand a hefty asking price.

"The fact that Barcelona are asking for £53m for me doesn't help. I'm calm at this moment and will wait and see what happens," he is quoted as saying by Marca.

Cillessen has been with the Blaugrana for the past three seasons and during this period, he has largely featured in the Copa del Rey. He has managed just five league appearances.
