Arouna Koné for Man Utd?
Arouna Koné for Man Utd?
Arouna Koné are being linked with a move for PSV Eindhoven's Ivorian striker. Middlesbrough had been linked with the player last week, and Sevilla were reportedly in advanced negotiations with the player. However, it now appears that Man Utd are set to make a bid of £7.5m to bring the striker to Old Trafford.
Man Utd have lost Wayne Rooney for two months after he picked up a hairline fracture to a bone in his foot. Louis Saha is on his way back from injury, but it is believed it will take at least 3 weeks before he is fully fit.
Arouna Koné has played for Lierse and Roda JC in the past, and at PSV has started to show his talent. Capable of playing on the left or up front, the versatile 23-year-old often partners Chelsea striker Didier Drogba up front for the Ivory Coast.
