Oblak open to United move?

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is reportedly keen on ending his association with the Spanish side and would favour a potential move to Manchester United.

The Madrid giants finished second behind Barcelona in the recent league campaign and since then, a number of top players including Antoine Griezmann and Diego Godin have confirmed that they will be leaving the club.

According to ESPN FC, Oblak is said to be concerned regarding Atletico's ambition going forward and is now keen on pursuing a fresh challenge elsewhere this summer.

The same publication claims that the Slovenian would favour a switch to the Premier League with the Red Devils, who have been regularly linked with his services in the past.

United are currently unsure regarding the future of David de Gea with his contract expiring in 12 months' time and it is claimed that they could sanction his sale in the summer itself.

Still, Oblak won't come on the cheap for United with Atletico said to be reluctant to negotiate on the player's £104m release clause. United are likely to earn around £60m from De Gea's sale.
